Last Tuesday, November 29, the main cast of Gilmore Girls attended a special screening of the first episode of Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, in New York. The event was organized by SAG-AFTRA and took place in the AMC Theater at 42nd Street.
Following the screening, Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, and Scott Patterson joined the audience for a Q&A session, which was broadcasted live on Facebook.
They all shared their favorite moments of these 4 new episodes, as well as fond memories of the late Edward Herrmann, explaining that they wished to pay tribute to him by doing these specials.
The most awkward part of the panel was when the moderator asked a question about something that only happens on the 4th episode, even though it had been previously asked to the audience if everybody had already seen all 4 episodes, to which the answer was mainly “no”. Therefore, a few members of the audience were a little upset at the moment.
The cast is still in New York with a full schedule of promotion. Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life is now streaming on Netflix. You can watch the Facebook Live below, as well as some pictures of the event.
